My normal Sundays are spent with friends in our local social club, this week i really wanted to grind and try win some money and earn some rakeback, wished i had gone out now and got pissed. Played maybe 4-5 hr session on the afternoon and got poker raped, nothing work, no big hands held up, one draw hit giving me the flush against a set of aces, river gave him the full house, plus various other crap......sigh. Ended up dropping £60, which totally pissed me of big time. Reflecting back it was only 4 buyins, but at the time it seemed like thousands, i cashed out my roll enabling me to take a break from the game, the rest of the Sunday. To be honest i'm not loving Ipoker at all, i've played 12k hands on there, the software is shit, the rakeback (52%) is very little, so i dunno if i'll redeposit on there, may try Stars again or maybe Party, not sure, got a day to decide while i wait for my deposit to turn up. Loads of people seem to play Stars for the obvious reasons, but alot seem to do without the rakeback sites like Ipoker offer, surely there must be some decent returns for someone who 8-9 tables and puts in 20+ playing hours a week? If anyone reading this blog and can help let me know please!

Hardly played due to several reasons listed below:-
Baby daughters 1st birthday on Friday, cba to play on the night
Computer decided to blow itself up, resulting in me restoring it back to factory settings, spent the most of Saturday fixing it, restoring all my data and stuff, then chilled watching TV.

Since computer got fixed i decided to trial Pokertracker (never ever manged to get it working before, thankfully i did this time!) Trialed it seeing if it would pick up my hand history on Ipoker, which it did thankfully, played a little tester at 1 am to see if it worked properly, shame i lost all my previous HH pre computer crash, oh well i guess its better than PTR for tracking my data.
670ish hands played tonight against the drunks, need to get on with this grinding if i'm ever going to make NL50, may stay in tomorrow and grind all day when the house is peacefull, here's my tester session graph!

Struggling to fit in the volume i'd like to at the minute, family and my business taking up alot of time.......sigh.
3 hour session tonight playing 2.2k worth of hands for a buyin and a half profit........double sigh, out of the 3 hours i think i only got Aces twice, and hardly made money from them, nevermind any other big pairs, biggest pot i won was with K9hh when i flopped a flush against trip Jacks.
Longest session i've played 8 tabling since i started this 'another' attempt at poker, must be the first time i've ever played poker when i haven't tilted or tried win losses back by playing stupid higher limits, long may this composure continue!
So halfway through the week, heres the update:-

bb/100 = 2.9
Profit +£80

Guess i got to be happy so far, you think playing 8 tables you should be rolling in winnings but i guess your missing out on lots of spots to actually make money, might loosen up a little and see if the actual winnings improve, if it dont work can always return to my nit strategy.

Should be all achievable, so far played 5.4k hands in the last 3 days, and still up 5 buyins.

Still waiting for week 1 of this months rakeback payment to be paid - sigh will it ever turn up, affiliate who set it up and Betmost support friggin pretty sucky, i'll give it a bit longer before i look for another deal!

EDIT - PTR not recording hands played properly so god knows where i am tonight played a hour and half session and PTR recorded only 400 hands, which utter jibberish, should really purchase HM or Tracker, so go knows where my hand total is now, also showed i lost $14 when i actually won a whopping £5, Big Mac meal on me!!!

Trying to be a grinder!

So since my last post i've failed at trying to 4 table PLO, could never beat the fish or maybe i was the fish, who knows, who cares, just know PLO is not my game anymore! So i'm trying to multi table (7-9 tables) NL20 on Ipoker with 52% rakeback, so at the minute aiming to be break even and try boost the old roll by bonuses and rakeback, not sure on what my approx hourly rate will be for rakeback, but i'm guessing its low, as i'm playing a real nitty game, also trying to clear a bonus on there too! At the minute the swings are small compared to PLO, and i can handle the beats, when they come along. Started this little attempt at making poker a money earner on Saturday, i've played 3k in hands in real small hourly sessions, and made $60 profit, due some rakeback payment tomorrow from when i was playing PLO so may boost the roll a little more.

Going to keep on doing this strategy for a week and see what rakeback i get from it, hopefully should be a ok sum, if not i dont know where i'll go from here pokerwise, really need a focus or some advice!

Playing for only 9 days in a total since i returned mainly at NL£4 turned my deposit of £40 into £530 with a little NL£20 thrown into the mix. So was pretty pleased, to be back playing, making a profit and getting used to the easy grind of 4 tabling NL£20, even with just a smallish roll i feel totally comfortable at the level i'm playing, looking at the long term results rather than just the beats which i'm remarkably handling quite well, unlike when playing PLO were i would berate in the chat box.

So whats up for September?

Well me sticking to Sky Poker didnt last at long (lol) After a little working out and comparison to other sites, it was the worst choice for me to play, for bonuses and rakeback, and action during the day, which to enable a decent bonus/rakeback i need to grind some long hours to help build my roll.

Had a few options but in the end i settled for a ipoker skin (used to hate the site for plo but thats in the past when my state of mind was not correct for poker.) I got a pretty sweet deposit bonus, points for cash system and future reload bonuses, a $3k rake race, and loads of free mtt entries thrown into the deal.

Just played a little session making $20, need to time a 4 table session to work out my average points/hour to work out how many hours a day i need to grind to clear this bonus.

Wow its been a long time since i posted or in fact even played poker seriously - so if i have any readers left heres what i been upto since my last post!

Shortly after my last post (maybe a week or two) i came to the conclusion that battling PLO donks, regs and beats was annoying the hell out of me, i couldn't find a regular site i like to play and that i could succesfully crush, was basicaly a poker nomad jumping around from site to site trying to settle down, i was still winning just not comfortable on any site i played, would of loved to get on 888 skin but somehow i have no knowledge of my password at all and their crap customer services helped very little! So i basically quit the game with a decent roll which i spent on the family!

I found myself playing World of Warcraft (played it on/off for a few years) the game is the worse thing a obsessive addict like me can do the spend his spare time, anything i do and i enjoy be it poker or sport i get addicted to, and Warcraft was my new 'fix'. After spending nearly wasting a year playing that dam game, i came to my senses a month ago and just totally quit in one day and i'll never return to it, its so addictive it makes you forget the outside world, family - everything, caused so many arguments between with the wife its was unreal, i'm one of them people where when i do something i do it full throttle and try to be the best i can, and Warcraft takes up so much time if you want to be the best.

So i've returned back to poker, this time i'm really focused and playing the game properly. I took a good few weeks to watch videos, read articles and watch the best players i know trying to learn how to improve my game and make my return successfull, spending 2-3 weeks organising before i deposited, I'm in a better mindset and totally focused to achiev what i wish from poker. So i found myself depositing on Sky poker (UK site for only UK players) its very fishy, not great for bonuses, so they reg grinders kind of give it a miss. I've chosen to grind the NL cash games and maybe the odd mtt when wanting a break. I deposited £40 and started at NL4 (lol high stakes, but if i'm gonna do it right i'm gonna do it right) so far i've grinded my roll up to £530+ playing cash only and currently playing NL20, kind of happy at this level as the players are pretty weak, and the new aggressive tight game i'm playing works well. Would be very happy to stay at this level for good if i can make a steady second income from it (currently 4 tabling) will decide after a few months of seeing how it goes, definitely not interested in going above NL50 as thats where the regs seems to hang out above. Spending a bit of time watching the cash play on sky channel too, hopefully pick up a few things along the way and learning who to avoid! Aiming to be more focused in September and push up the workrate, looking at aiming for 7-8k player points a month which pays £150 a month back as kind of rakeback, would be happy with that as profit a month pays a small car payment off each month, something to think about.

Time to sort the blog links out seems liek alot of others have quit blogging too.

Hate runs and in fact poker when its like this, pretty much pointless, was at one point close to quitting again for another few months, till i checked HEM and reaffirmed to myself i can win and the hands i was losing with i was getting my money in good! I can't beat the euro donks just not the software at the minute, got to keep focus and keep battling. Volume wise i've surpassed last weeks hands easily and may even double it if i keep on grinding, its just a shame i can't repeat last weeks winnings, as the cash would be handy! Not sure what to spend my whopping $14 profit on this week, maybe a paper, some bread and milk............what a balla lifestyle!

Well i've increased my volume and have done two thirds of what i managed all last week but the results have been woefull, variance is really against me. Started off the week dropping 4 buyins and have been struggling to make them back ever since, finally breaking into profit in a hit and run shot at PLO200 when sat in half stacked, and doubled up after maybe 30 or 40 hands when i hit a set of 7's and didnt belive the aggro push with 4 clubs on the board, Euro donk had absolute air as expected. At my normal level of PLO25 i'm really struggling big time, as i said its variance that is killing me, and i know i can beat the level easily, just need some hands to hold and i'll take down a decent session soon. Euro donks with their 2 pair etc are the fools that are killing me, they just won't let go, and always seem to get there. After each session i've been studying my hands were i've lost big and apart from a few spews i've done very little wrong, liking HEM alot and i believe the $140 outlay is worth it for the end of session analysis, also good to track that i am a actual winner at the level i play, keeps me motivated and mentally strong!

Whilst i have been waiting for my 48hrs to pass so i can withdraw my roll from Red Star, i decided to take a look at a few sites and tools that may help my game. I looked at various training sites like Cardrunners and Leggo, and i found most video's for PLO were directed at stakes far higher than the ones i play, and i don't see how their hand analysis would help me against the euro spews at the low grunt level i play, so i don't see any point purchasing a training package, then i took a look at Holdem Manager and downloaded the 15 day trial, after a while updating my old computer with Microsoft service packages etc, i finally got it to work, and after another incredibly long time downloading hands into it i finally got some data, and its nice to see i'm actually a winning player on Ongame, and its encouraged me to redeposit on there and atleast complete this month 100k rake race (+$8k race from rakeback provider.) As pointed out by Yorkshire Pud on my last post comments, yes the software ain't great (got kind of used to it) and yes its definitely full of Euro tards, but thats what i want, and the quality of player makes up for the lack of rakeback, and the juicy games keep it more interesting than playing $1-2 average pots of other sites. I feel PLO25 on Ongame plays like very weak PLO50 on others and the $10+ pots are the norm, i can earn a decent sum without having to have the PLO50 bankroll ........if that makes sense? Well i removed my roll from Betsafe and deposited on Red Star Poker, only to receive a email this morning saying because i have a rakeback account on Powerpoker i can't have one on Red Star........lol dam. One thing i did notice last night playing Cake again is how tight the games are at PLO20 you've got average pots on $1-2 when the average on Ongame is $4-6 at PLO25 sometimes higher, i may just stick to Ongame with my roll and grind the low stuff with 80+ buyins. I now have to wait another 30 hours before i can remove my roll from Red Star and deposit elsewhere! Boring post as always but there you go!

My time on Betsafe has come to end, with me succesfully completing Operation Break Even, and actually surpassing it by $240. So i have cashed out my $2240 roll and have it safely sat in Neteller and will be moving it to Cake network and trying to complete another deposit bonus. I eventually got quite used to the crazy fish on Ongame and i'm hoping i'll be able to adapt back to how the Cake players play, who knows one day i may return to playing on Ongame, but at the minute the rakeback is pretty low on there, basically a third of what i can achieve on Cake. I haven't topped up my bankroll and i'm looking to make my $2k deposit on Cake grow to a decent figure and remove some winnings every now and again. Hope i run good!

Operation: Break Even

After the spin up on 5/5 the other day turning $500 into $1700 and another $400 sat in neteller, plus $120 won yesterday, my roll stands at $2220, and i'm 5% away from completing my $500 Betsafe deposit bonus, which would give me over the $2500 bankroll (if i stay break even till bonus is cleared) i was going to have without actually topping up like i was planning, which is obviously very pleasing, so thats my plan to play break even poker till my bonus is cleared, i'll be very happy to leave Betsafe with $2500 espcially since i only deposited $450 on the 22/4/10 after a disastrous tilt monkey spew at 2/4 on Powerpoker. Then i have a decision to make do i still actually top bankroll up from March's excellent month or not?
Once my bonus is clear i will be moving back to a cake skin and trying to clear another $500 bonus, then i'll jump to another skin and do the same, then will decide where i go from there depending on bankroll, would like to hop around sites for maybe a few months clearing bonuses and try boost the bankroll that way. If i top up i'll be looking at a $5k roll so will be able to play PLO50 full time, and would be looking at trying to reach the 10k roll target by the end of the year, and thus hit my goal to play PLO100 permantly and with a safe bankroll. Or i can just keep on plodding along and see where i get, hard to decide but i still havent touched any of March's $5k winnings so i could infact reload and have a bankroll of $7.5k+, but i'd like something to show from all these poker hours i've been putting in, but on the other hand, its a hobby i love which actually costs me nothing to do and actually earns me cash when i dont tilt it off!

Now i'm not proud of myself so this isn't a brag post!

I've ran like shit at PLO25 on Ongame the last day and a half, and when i say shit i mean real shit, 14 times i've had AA double suited or with connectors all in preflop and i've lost every single one, to utter garbage like Q863 (that was the last one that broke the camels back!) Also seemed to be getting rivered alot aswell when the fish can't fold there J high flush or even their AAxx when i have trips or 2 pair plus a draw. Having sessions like that can really destroy your soul and makes you wonder if this game is worth playing at all. So after another abysmal session this morning, i find myself enraged with the world, i'm banging doors, shouting at the dog, i even made the daughter have a bath (which she hates!) even though she had one last night, anything to try and relieve this whole i was stuck in. So after the bath, i decided to sod Betsafe off even though i have 10% to go to clear my $500 bonus, so i withdraw all my roll apart from $500 and decide to vent some steam and play absolutely donkey PLO on a 5/5 without a care in the world if i bust the god dam lot. 30 minutes later i find my self sat with $1200 and i've ran like god, why do i always run super hot at stakes i'm not rolled for and crap at the ones i am, i got my stack in with the nut flush draw (As,2s,KcQc) on a 10s 8s 4s against a wrap, i hit a King on the turn and take down a $900 pot, i limp on the button with Ah,As,4h,6s flop is 3h,5h,10s,8c i half pot it get one caller, turn is blank, and its checked, river 9h and i get paid $300 with a guy holding str and King high flush. Its weird how i run so good at large stakes, i just can't work it out, is it massive luck or maybe because i'm playing 1 table loose i'm getting paid off when i hit my big hands, i just don't know, everytime i tilt up monkey spew at rediculous stakes i always seem to come good. So the $750 odd profit has wiped all my losses away at PLO25 and i now find myself up around $400 for the week, which is nice, but obviously not the way to do it, but after the run i've been on at PLO25 i'll obviously take it, going to complete the 500 points i need for my Betsafe bonus then decide where to go to next, 75% sure i'm leaving Ongame, but a big thanks to Henrik at their online support who obviously turned the BOOOOOOM button on for my account, after i asked for details of Ongames RNG system and verbally abused him, LOL what a dick i am when i'm fuming!

Me being a superstitious twat like i am, have posted another pic of my fav babe Kim Kardashian again hoping she will give me a little mini heater like last time............i friggin need it!

May so far has been as horrible as April, today espcially when the cards did me over big time, continually getting it in good (espcially pre) and losing to two outers, if variance held i'd be flying this month, i dont mind the dumb scandi's thinking that the likes of QQj2 or KK93 rainbow is good against my AAK10 and AAQJ double suits pre espcially when i repopped their repop but when they are dominated it pisses me off when they hit the trips, this has happened like 12 times so far this month and i've had my AA hands hold twice...........work them maths out for running bad!

4/5/10 - 6.5 hours - +$29

and this mornings 1.5 hours for a loss of $48

As for the Wsop ME freeroll i played that i qualified through via Betsafe's top 300 rakers, sadly my AJ SB shove against a continual raiser in the BB was no good against his monster A9 when he flopped trips! and i went in 54th position with 30 paid.

Well that was a very tough month, didn't help by tilting off over $700 in one session at $2/4 trying to win back losses at my normal stakes. Been grinding Ongame since that blow up, and didnt run particularly well there for the first week basically being break even, but managed to pull it around this week and end up only $140 down for the month from actual poker playing, but up a massive $33 profit if you include Rakeback and rake race winnings. Really liking Ongame at the minute, espcially now i'm playing alot tighter, and being fairly passive preflop, its dam juicy and you can win some decent money even at PLO25, plenty of games running at most times of the day, so i can keep a steady schedule going. I've also qualified for a WSOP free roll where 32 places out of 320 runners receive a main even package, wish me luck it runs on Tuesday, and i got it free for being one of the top 300 cash rakers on the site.

Goals for May
1) Complete Betsafe $500 deposit bonus
2)No tilt monkey spews at 2/4 etc!
3)Reload bankroll to $2500 for 100 buyins of PLO25, then remove profits when they occur!
4)Try make a profit

Been keeping my sessions real short since last post, and running pretty hot, up 10 buyins ($250) in around 3 hours play today. Tightening up has really helped recoup some of the daft losses when i went tilt monkey spew at 2/4 and the bankroll is getting somewhere near it was before, roughly only down $200 this month so its not been all that bad! I have to remember this feeling for when i run bad or variance slaps me in the face! Its probably the hardest part of a cash game player or infact any poker player, learning to handle the pressure when things are going right, its some i need to work on alot if i wish to progress as decent part time player, i've got to handle the beats and not go tilt monkey spew chasing losses at 2/4 (even though i'm quite succesfull at it!) I've also got to keep it tight, play position and i should do ok at this low level poker playing and earn a pretty decent side wage, $350 winnings this week (not including bonuses/rakeback) thats over £200 as a side income, which i'm well happy at, its like having a min wage weekly pay packet for a few hours work doing something i love (when running ok!) Sod playing mtt's and co, i prefer the balanced money a week/month than one big score everynow and again. Speaking of big scores i watched the WSOP 2009 Final table today - wow Joe Cada = one lucky donk! At least a froggie didnt win, that would of pissed me right off!

Non poker - I want to move to Sweden and live, pretty serious about it, watched Jamie Olivers show last night and it really does look a great place to bring a family up, a little like New Zealand (lived there when i was 10yrs old) but obviously closer to the UK to visit, not sure about the 80% tax thing though, wonder if that includes poker winnings.........going to look into it now!

Pleased to say variance is being a little kinder to me now after a terrible April, infact its nice to get a couple of winning sessions in a row, rather than win one, lose one i've had for basically 2 weeks now. Really tightened up aswell, and not so quick to shove my chips in the middle, maybe thats helping a little, up close to 8 buyins at PLO25 in the last day or so. Also spun my Powerpoker rakeback of $30 into $67 playing online roulette (total mugs game) and have withdrawn that back to neteller since i got over the $50 min cashout.
Found a great PLO forum and have been reading how the better players play through certain situations, think thats helping aswell, always good to learn from the better players, and read their thought process etc etc. Never to late to learn! 71% through my deposit bonus so should clear it maybe early May! Hope May's going to be a little kinder and i play a little better, could do with a half decent profit to boost confidence, still going to top bankroll up, as at the minute i'm playing under rolled for PLO25 as i never redeposited when i went tilt monkey spew at 2/4!

Another thing that bugs me at the minute, is sad keyboard warriors and their sad little circles, some people think they are greatest thing on earth (non poker wise and poker wise) when they have a sad group of fuck wits backing them up, and trawling 2+2 all day and night and pinching others peoples creativeness does not make you what you think you are, neither does writing a blog etc class as full time work, and benefits isn't a wage its there to help you whilst you look for a job, on the other hand those that play poker for a living, you have my respect, but it doesn't make you a better person than anyone else, so get off your high horse and stop getting a inflated ego from all your butt kissers!

Still struggling my way through April trying to make a profit, just can't seem to get going and book a decent winning session, break even poker really does suck, espcially playing cash games. On a brighter note i'm clearing my bonus on Betsafe pretty nice, so that will add $500 to my roll, will also be topping bankroll back up and returning to Powerpoker once the bonus is cleared, hopefully won't be too long as Ongame poker really sucks, espcially on the run i am at the minute!

Non poker related, the house build is coming along nicely and should be well finished before the birth of the baby, business is also ok, not flat out but ticking along ok.

After a amazing month last month, i find myself dead and buried this one, 5k last month in winnings and rakeback and now down to less than half my original roll, $450 and change! I've ran like crap this month basicaly scrapping even or little profit and last night i ran like Jade Goody in the London marathon! The river constantly bit me on the arse, friggin sickening and its left wondering if i have a poker future, i wont worry you with the bad beats or anything, lets just say some were pretty sick, but i'm safe in the knowledge i was getting my money in when in front, apart one hand where i monkey tilt spewed my Q flush when i knew the guy had Ace high flush. So the highs of last month are quickly eaten up by the massive lows of this month, where do i go from here?

TIME TO REFLECT:- Its been a few hours since the original post, and now i have had time to simmer or cool down, i dont think i could of done very little to change my massive downswing, surely i want the donks to put their money in bad? I've gone through a few crucial hands and i dont think i've done much wrong, i'm just going to put it down to bad and very unlucky variance! I've blocked myself from playing another poker site for 7 days, and will probably take the rest of the month off, hopefully rake race money will clear most of my losses, and i may top back up from last month winnings to around the $1500 mark and just grind PLO20 from now on, a level where i feel i have a advantage, and where with $1500 i will be comfortably rolled (most of last nights losses came from PLO50 and above!) If it wasn't for playing higher i'd be up $90 today.........maybe thats the level (or more importantly the level of my bankroll) where i'm the most comfortable!

I'm in a sticky situation and i'm not liking it, it all started on Saturday night when i went out for some beers with my mate (best man at my wedding) we watched the Boro lose to West Brom and had a decent skinfull, we hit our local town and bumped into his wife and her mate towards 11pm ish, now my mates wife is always very flirty, chatty and a outgoing type, but in my eyes not one bit attractive compared to the wife, fuck compared to any half fit bird! Anyway where having our usual chat (the 4 of us) about gossip, beer and anything that came into our head, i'm chatting away to her mate been friendly etc etc, and i feel my arse getting pinched, now i know its my mates wife, she always does it, so ignore her and carry on talking to her mate, next i feel a hand reach round and grab my tackle, this makes me jump a little as she's never been this forward, i turn round and say a jokingly 'Dont touch what you can't afford!' She laughs it off! Now roll on hour or so, and we've moved pubs and i'm left holding my mates pint as he goes to the toilet, i'm stuck with his wife, and her mate who's playing with facebook on her phone, i then feel another hand on my package, i look down and its my mates wifes hand is pulling at my flies, she's also staring straight at me, so i step backwards quickly, the rest of the night i'm doing my best to avoid her, either by talking to other people i know, or her mate , or position my mate sandwiched in between us. It was getting late and i had craving for food so we all moved to the nearest pizza shop, them 3 are ordering pizza's, so i make a quick choice just for a kebab as i'm expecting it to be served quick and i can escape before there pizza's are made, luckily we live in the opposite end of town from them. Whilst waiting for what seemed to be the longest kebab maker in history, i'm invited back to theres for drinks which i strongly decline, giving some excuse i'm wrecked and want to get home, so i say my goodbye's, and for some dumb reason exchange facebook contacts with the wifes mate, DAM IPHONES!!!!
Anyway i get home safely and just brush the experience off as her being pissed and me over reacting to her fun. But today i made the fatal error by excepting mates wifes facebook friendship, and a couple of hours later i'm in even more shock to get a private message from mates wife, basically saying the offer of no strings attach sex is avaliable whenever my mate is away with work (which in Mon-Fri) GULP! How weird is that? Now i have to either ignore it or tell my best mate his wife is a cock hungry whore (his first wife was the same, and it nearly killed him when he finally came to his sensors!)

Since my last post i've pretty much sorted my poker life out, i've deleted and closed my account at Stars completely, so theres no going back there, i've moved my whole roll to one site and i'm determined to carry on playing till i hit my $2k roll goal, then i'll be rolled enough to play the limits i want and take home a wage from any profits.

The site i've chosen was not one of the 3 i listed in my last post, i opted for Littlewoods due to the weak fish but for some reason they have decided to close my poker account and not let me open a new one or reinstate my old one, weird but its there loss. So instead i opted for Everest Poker, basically i was looking for a non rakeback site with weak fish, where i'd be able to dominate the games against far less skilled players. I think i choose right as i've binked a tidy score playing PLO25 and 50 against some complete gutter fish! Today winnings has seen me double this weeks winnings in 2 sessions, which is obviously running hot, but i basically stayed patient and waited for the fish to make the mistakes, generally most of my money came from flush over flushes and higher straights over lower, the less skilled somehow can't seem to find a fold, which is ofcourse nice! I'll continue the grind until i'm rolled enough to skim profits off and maybe move back to a rakeback paying site, but for now my home is Everest!

Jumping from site to site isn't doing anyone any good, depositing on Stars was just plain dumb, thinking the RNG may like was even dumber. My poker has been a waste of space this month, chopping and changing, moving around sites like a crazy man, it needs to stop and stop quick! I need to pick a site and just get my grind on, get used to the players moves, get used to the site and what it offers, so thats what i'm going to do!

I've made $147 this week, not including RB or bonuses and i have cashed out all monies out of all accounts back to neteller and will make a decision on what site i'm going to grind fully on out of these 3:-
Powerpoker - my old faithfull, 33% RB, full of fish, a site i've consistantly won on, decent bonuses through the gold chip scheme!
Betsafe - decent traffic, 50% through a $500 deposit, cashback equivalent to rakeback but at a low %
LuckyAce/Littlewoods/Pacific - a very old favourite, weakest standard of player i've come across on the net, may be able to find a skin and get some kind of deposit bonus etc, but no rakeback etc

So i'm taking the next day or so off, will total relax from poker then restart the grind, get to around $2k Bankroll then start skimming off a profit per week/month. Should have around $400-500 rake race payments next month (thats how much i've chopped and changed) so i'll be adding them to the bankroll, need to get back playing seriously and not mucking about, just look at last month when i stuck to one site and won big!

Poker struggling at the minute like i have been for most of this month, its going to be nothing like last months big pay day! Just can't seem to get a winning run going, no matter if iam playing correctly. Flamingo bet i lost $40 for the day yesterday, but should of been around $100-150 up if the donks hadn't hit massive suckouts or i had won my flips. Deposited on Stars to play some 180 manners but after 25 mins i was bored stupid and basically dumped myself out of them, guess i dont have the concentration or the patience to play NLHE mtt/sngs, so i'll be withdrawing from there pretty soon!

I've found a new site to play, mainly due to the rake race only having 12 runners, the site is called Flamingo Bet on the Everleaf network (US players excepted) I thought i'd give it a try with a little deposit. Apart from permantly having Barry Manilow's Copacabana song permantly in my head whilst playing it, the pink Lobby, yes pink lobby and the Tropic themed tables, its not to bad. The wife did make a passing comment last night asking 'Is that a gay poker site?' Yes it does look mightily camp, but if the standard was anything like last night, i don't mind a little camp! It didnt take me long to move most of my roll over to it, i didnt run particularly good, but the standard is totally soft, reminds me of Party Poker 6 years back and the mtt's are softer than Sky Poker! The site mainly consists of mad Russians and other Eastern block countries and there PLO game needs a lot of work, they consistantly chase any draw 80% of the time, any flush draw is good for them to stack off with, 2 pair is the nutz also to them, all i need to do is run semi decent on there and i'll clean up! Spoke to a Danish reg on a 0.25/50 Euro table who was sat with 6 times his buyin, who said basically just nut peddle and you can clean up on the site! Played a few mtt's aswell and from what i saw QJ is worth all the chips to most on there, not matter what stage of the mtt........sweet! Another sweet deal is i get 40% rakeback paid every Monday on the account, plus a 100% deposit bonus just wished i'd deposited a larger sum than $180 when testing the site out, oh well rake race money will boost it a little probably somewhere between $300-700 payout!

Yesterday i won $36 on Betsafe before switching to the gay site where i won another $73 (As said above i ran like crap at first!) which makes me $142 up for the week with hardly any real volume of hands! Still hanging on in the rake leaderboards for Ipoker and Betsafe aswell hopefully around $300 payout at the end of the month from them. For some unknown reason i have no real urge to sit at a poker table, have probably played about 3 hours total this week, for a profit of $69, pretty pathetic really as i am missing out on rakeback, rake race points which basically equals free and easy money. Business has been real busy of late, and i find my time being took up alot by that, which is ofcourse a good thing, but even when i have spare time at night, i prefer to waste it reading blogs, facebook and stuff. Maybe a change of game might motivate me, problem is i'm average at any other poker form, and find no joy sitting in a mtt to bust close to the money! I type this words with dread as i am considering depositing on Stars and playing some PLO mtt's, the site hates me, but thanks to reading Custo's blog i now know i can ban myself from cash games! Maybe a night of plo donking in a mtt might encourage me to get back to the grind in the spare time i have! At one point last night i even considered re entering the world of Warcraft and killing a few things, then i came to my senses and realised a 36 yr old running around as a Elf is a little sad, espcially when everyone else playing is under 21 years of age and spend like 20 hours a day mastering the dam game!

Last week since restarting my bankroll at $1k i made $309 profit not including rakeback or bonus at PLO25, so not a bad week, will try keep up the volume and clear this Betsafe $500 bonus. Since i have reset my bankroll and starting again at the bottom (probably the only level i can beat) i've ran ok, since my last post i've grinded out $244 at PLO25, been trying to keep to a set schedule, but for some reason my business has really took off lately and i find myself more and more busy with that, shouldn't complain in todays climate, better to have a steady income and win some poker cash on the side, than trying to grind out a living. Played two, 2 hour sessions today making $77 for the day, this included being stone cold even in tonights session, would of been up but for one bad beat, but i kept my game together, and have actually adapted it to suit the players i'm trying to beat. I've returned to Betsafe to complete the bonus (i chop and change so much) and to also prove to myslelf that i can beat the utter euro donks on there! Changed my game a little in the following ways to beat the nutters:-
Pot Control
Playing position far more
Limping with Premium hands rather than firing, then blasting the raiser pre, enabling to get 60% of my stack in pre, thus making it a easier decision to commit on a flop.

Seems to be working quite good, or maybe just variance swept back in my direction again after a horrible week last week! Also playing Bodog to try and take 1st place in a very juicy but quiet rake race, hopefully i'll bink the top payout of $1k!

All last month's profits have been removed from Neteller and safely tucked into my bank account and are going to be spent on a nice little family holiday and baby gear for our arrival in October. The reason i have done this, is that i need to refocus, play sensibly, play correctly and take poker step by step, one amazing month doesn't make me the world's greatest! So the $1000 man is back, yes thats my roll, and hopefully i'll be able to increase it, by taking advantages of rake races, rakeback and hopefully some winnings starting at PLO20 again! I need to keep my old schedule from a few weeks back and not go overboard, need to keep fresh and play how i was a few weeks back. Last month is totally forgotten its time to get back to ABC poker and do it right! No high expectations, no dreams of grinding with the big boys as soon as possible, just enjoy and hopefully do ok and make a steady profit!

After last nights rant post i'm taking a few days off from the poker cash grind and will be donking about in some SNG's on FTP, maybe even a MTT or two. Have deposited some $'s on Bodog also, now dont flame me, i know its rubbish, but i spotted on my rakeback site it has a $5k race and so far this month i have a whopping $17 rake to beat to get first place for a $1k payout ........lol free money! There is only two people on the leaderboard, so i'm expecting a decent bonus at the end of the month, suprised no one else has spotted it. Beginning to like these rake races and they certainly help to boost the old bankroll!

Goodbye Ongame it was shit playing you, and all your euro donks that you continued to keep in the game by letting them hit 2 outers everytime i got my money in good! Somehow i managed to scrap a $450 profit on the site during my short time on it, but if my hands had held i think it would of been triple that, probably the worst PLO run of my life, i just couldn't get the donks to fold or more importantly get my hands to hold when i was a 60-75% fav on the flop! Havent played for 3 days as i was away at a wedding, staying at a lovely 4 star hotel, and had a good piss up, game of golf (first in 6 years) which i actually played like Tiger and ended up winning, and fun times all around plus nice food, was a nice poker break. Returned to the felt tonight to grind it out and try complete this dam bonus and get off this dam Ongame network, as i hate it and more importanlty it hates me, totally not enjoying playing it at all! Just can't have a decent winning session grinding low stakes, always having to jump up levels to make up losses, as what happened tonight. So annoying as the standard is dam pitifull, oh well i'm there till my bonus is achieved then off as fast as i can, not sure which site/network to try next pretty sure it wont be Ongame, unless i start to run normal on it, maybe its just a bad streak in variance, but its affecting my confidence more and more! Weird how i run bad at PLO25 but run like god at PLO50 and above on the same site, maybe i'm trying to hard to score at PLO25!

Well heres my review for March's play (may aswell include the few days of Feb i played)

I've solely concentrated on PLO cash, i think its my best way of making money at poker, it fits in to my schedule, its keeps me motivated, and i believe i can win at it at any stakes under $2/4.

I've played alot of it on Powerpoker, some on Full Tilt and recently bonus whoring on Betsafe(Ongame) and i've been a winner on all the sites i've played. I have real hot patches, some dodgy break even sessions and some super hot tilt spin ups were i have won big.

Starting roll : $1000
Profit per site
Full Tilt : $1011
Powerpoker : $2976
Betsafe : $495

Rakeback + Bonuses : $784

Total Profit : $5266 (including 8 days from Feb)

So basically i've crushed low stakes PLO and i will continue to grind the low stakes again in April, i'm removing $1266 from my roll to spend on the family, whats the point of putting in the grind and getting nothing to show for it, also means if i go busto i havent lost anything since i only started with $1k, so theres no playing with scared money.

So April begins with $5k roll and i'll continue to clear my bonus on Betsafe ($500) then jump to another skin and repeat, should be able to clear the two bonuses by end of April giving me $1k for nothing, hopefully i can at least break even. I have $250 heading my way from Powerpoker race, should of been more but i stopped playing PP for the last 5 days, i should make Betsafe race leaderboard for a similar bonus in April, if i'm somewhere near the top i may see the whole of April out on Betsafe and go for a decent race bonus, but we'll see.
I will be staying away from the big sites as i see no advantage of playing them at all, to many sharks on both Stars and Tilt even at the low levels i play. prefer to catch the weaker players who are experimenting/ playing on tilt/ or just plain bad on the smaller sites, plus the bonuses and rakeback are far greater, shame some of the software/support lets them down, but i'm BR building and i need all the extra $'s i can get! I cant see me having another month like March, it would be nice, but i doubt it, but i'm looking to have a $10k roll at least by the end of the year!

The new network i'm playing is a massive fish fest, full of probably the worst donks i've seen YET, i'm struggling like mad, i just can't shake the fish of there draws, they continue to chase and continue to get there 75% of the time, its friggin annoying and dam frustrating. I should be up loads but i find myself only $210 from 4 days play, it should easily be triple that! I'm having to adapt my game and become a nut-peddler, which is dam boring, and to be honest i'm not enjoying my poker on the site at all. On a brighter note i'm flying through the PP's (Player Points) and should complete my $500 deposit by mid April, thats if i stay long enough on the site, i'm missing Powerpoker alot! The amount of PP's i earn next month should see me fairly high on the Rake race leaderboard maybe a $300-400 bonus, but once April is completed and the race and bonus completed, i think i'll jump to another network or skin and just bonus whore for a bit, and build my roll that way, i want to have a $10k roll by the end of the year at least!

Running as good as this fellow at the minute, dont think i'm playing bad, just in one of them sticky break even/ scrape a profit patches all cash players get, but i know one thing it's dam annoying. Yes i'm still scraping out a profit ($72 tonight) but it should of been triple that easily, missed several big draws, had a few top sets busted and ran Full house into Quads, after i flopped the nuts, so i guess i should be happy that i've actually started the week off in profit, as at one point it looked like i was going to have my first losing day out of 10 days played. Another happy note i've moved upto 6th in my rake race and it looks like i'll maintain this position for a $300 bonus payment, dont think i'll catch 5th as he's like $400 in rake in front, but i'm $120 above 7th place so its not all bad, just waiting for new screen to arrive so i can fire up 6 tables at a time instead of the 4! I seem to be doing better at PLO50 than PLO20 now, and have started cutting the lower tables out and playing more 50 games. Total ramble post as most of them are..........so good luck to all!

On a non poker related note..................Baby no.3 is due 6/10/10 after we had the 12 week scan today, all looks well and healthy!

Since i doubt anyone is reading this, due to the lack of comments etc, I write this post for my own sanity and to look back on in a year and so, and see if i actually have progressed in my poker life! Or i may become bored and delete this crap, my blog basically only exists due to the links of other peoples blogs i enjoy reading, anyhow i will continue!

Today started good making $78 in this mornings session, but tonight was a disaster, i decided to play only PLO20 and build my rakeback up a little (to help with rake race) but i'm not a fan really at playing on weekend nights (hence only PLO20) the fish have always drawn out on me in the past, and tonight was no exception. I had every beat you can imagine, against total clowns calling 7bb's with ultra shit, and i mean ULTRA! Combined with having the luck of a dead cat when i was drawing, resulting in me losing 8 buyins in rediculous fashion, i do admitting to tilting off at least $30 trying to play like the clowns who crippled me. Was logging off when i thought i'd scout the $1/2 tables for any fish i see at 25/50c and below, lol and behold i find 2 of the clowns sat, so i decide its shit or bust and sit with the max of $200.
4 hands later i get AA810 one suit and limp, repot a raiser and get 2 callers,
Flop 889 2 clubs, and i jam the pot, both mofo's fold, ship the $76 my way and i quickly exit, with my whopping $19 bucks profit. More importantly it maintains my winning day streak on Powerpoker to 10 days! Continuing to work on my game, and making steady progress and decent money. Was nicely informed by my rakeback provider today that i'm currently 8th in a $5k rakeback race on Powerpoker for this month, and i'm due a $200 bonus payment if i stay at 8th. I havent really been hitting the tables that hard, and havent played at night due to playing on Sky poker, i think if i get my grind on i can catch up to 4 or 5th place and double my bonus payment. For that reason i've stopped playing Sky PLO and have withdrawn the £200 i span up from £10 and will be purchasing a new monitor and trying to squeeze in 1/2 more extra tables ready for next months rakeback race!

Steady progress and trying to improve my game!

Had a steady day on Powerpoker the last two days, winning $100 on the first, and losing it all the recouping it on the 2nd, been slacking with my game time on there recently, hardly averaging more than 2 hours a day. Been tearing up Sky PLO though and winning approx £50 a night on there, which is good since i'm only 1 or 2 tabling and still earning more than a minimum wage job/per day. Standard is shocking and with only 1/2 regs who know what they are doing, its a sea that needs to fished regularly.

Trying to improve my game and hopefully improve my knowledge to help with playing PLO50 and hopefully in the future PLO100 so i've signed up for a site called:- www.dragthebar.com its not a well known name but some of the coaches/members/writers are some of the biggest winners online, not the most famous, but well established and long term winners, hopefully them and the forum can improve my game, its a bit like 2+2 but without the 10000's of posts you have to trudge through to get to the good ones! So i'll be trying to catch a few vids and see how your meant to actually play PLO properly!

Played some PLO 10p/20p on Sky Poker last night turning £10 into £114, very soft games and will be playing there again for sure. Highlight of the session was getting it all in against 2 others with top set of 10's against set of 5's and nut flush draw, blank turn, 10 on river giving me quads.......Ship it! May try and play there at night times and avoid the aggro good players who emerge on Powerpoker at that time.

Played a little session today approx 2hours worth, and all was going very well, i was playing well and quickly shot up a neat $120 profit and was contemplating getting up and walking away when i decided the short session wasn't enough and that i should carry on, wish i never bothered now. Two sick hands in a row, turned me into the evil snarling, destructive tilt monster that kills my game, and destroys my bankroll. The world doesn't exist when i'm in this state, and more importantly money doesn't matter to me, in fact it doesn't even exist, nothing does! The first hand to tilt me was this

This miss on a 10c/20c table was pretty annoying at roughly the same time as the other two, even worse was that the idiot who played his 2 pair didnt believe i was the favourite to win, why do i try educate when in a tilting rage, its the only time i abuse people in the chat!
After losing all my days profits and $30 more i was ready to lose my roll, and if it wasn't for two minor suckouts which doused the fire inside me a little, my roll would of gone as i was beginning to eye up $2/4 tables. So after 10 mins of average omaha, the rage was subdued enough for me to come to my senses and quickly log off with a $30+ profit...............but it could of been a lot worse!

Been taking shots at PLO50 and my sessions are like a god dam roller coaster, i win a decent amount in the mornings then lose it all again after tea............so frustrating, the players aren't that much better, you have a few more aggro players, who play the aggro game really well, but you still get your fair share of donkeys (maybe i'm one of them?) $3k Barrier hit!

My poker bankroll stands at a healthy $3k bankroll, and i'm pretty chuffed over how quicks its got there, apart from the tilting spaz-fest where i luck boxed a nice win, the majority of it has come from solid grinding and generally playing well. Last couple of days i've stayed on Powerpoker and have been taking shots at PLO50 (2 PLO 50's, 2 PLO20 tables) and i've been running pretty decent making around $400. The standard is roughly the same and maybe a little more aggro at times, but i'm 90% sure its a beatable level for me to play. I'll keep battling away at it and hopefully i can make another $1k and then i'll be properly rolled for PLO50 and maybe the odd shot at PLO100, as most of the fish float between PLO100 - PLO20. Not sure when i'm going to up my tables to 6, will see how i get on.

Would love to be able to take some kind of wage from poker as the economical climate at the min is making the business suffer, luckily enough i'm pretty financially sound, but all the extra pennies help i guess, if i could make it to PLO100 and make a part time living from it, i'd be over the moon, if i could make a full time living from it even better!

Been reading my old posts back and in my opinion they're crap, no wonder i dont get comments, so heres a new fresh start to the blog posting wise!

So far since i've returned to Full Tilt playing PLO25 (4 tabling) i've ran Superhot in at least one session a day, last night was no difference, earning another 7 buyins in a little over a hour, also completed the acquired 200 points for FTP's Iron man status and cleared another $20 off my $400 bonus ($60 cleared in total) steadily on target to clear the complete bonus before the time limit at the end of the month. So far for March i'm up 15 buyins, which along with the crazy $1k in 2 days swing at end of Feb see's me pretty comfortable to play PLO25 with close to 100 buyins, have yet to decide when to start to cash out profits or if to keep them in my roll and move upto to PLO50.

Lol everytime i slowplay it always ends up bad for me!

Last 2 days since last post has seen me meet my March objectives of qualifying for iron man on FTP, i've shot past the 200 fpp's a day needed, sadly apart from clearing another chunk of my $400 bonus thats all i've done pokerwise, pretty much been a very small winner (under $10 profit per day) Having some real bad luck on the tables and i've hit a few coolers, so most sessions the poker goes like this:- Lose 4/5 buyins to suckouts, 2 or 3 outers, wrong side of variance then spend rest of session battling back to get even before my 2 hrs up. Its dam annoying but hey thats PLO, a sick wild game at times where you can go from miles in front to behind in a turn of a card. On a brighter not i've yet to tilt and more importantly jump up stakes trying to win money back, a year or so back i would of done this every session, leading me to lose even more. Looking forward to when the variance returns back in my favour, still yet to have a losing session day on Full Tilt, i guess that will becoming soon!

Hopefully this beauty can bring me some $$$$'s (Definitely think i'm over substitious!)

Update - Just won $90 , would of been well over $150 if i never had so many 1 outers, in total i've had 3 in one session, variance owes me big time! Decent session though, i played well.

First of all last night i took a break from PLO cash and decided to play some mtt's to see if i could maybe boost my little roll with a decent score, I played both the early doubles ($5 buyin) a $8 180 and the $5 PLO rebuy, safe to say my bankroll didnt improve, i really dont know how full time internet pros play Mtt's it must be soul destroying, hours of work for a suckout to crush you and no money return, it would drive me bonkers! I dont mind them every now and again for a change but living off them or even just playing them as your only poker game is just not my cup of tea. $5 PLO rebuy was just a donkfest and i won't be playing that again ever, the 2 early's i busted out KK into AA, and Ak into AA on a Ak board both near the halfway stage, the $8 i finished 21st (18 paid) whan AK lost to JJ - Oh well i may make Sat night a regular Mtt night just for a change from PLO!

MARCH GOALS - Are basically to keep on with my schedule as its working great, and i'm enjoying my poker more than ever (maybe cos i'm winning!) If i'm still making profit 4 tabling by mid march i will be jumping up another 2 tables and trying to play them succesfully. Main goal for March is to earn Iron Man status - Gold Status should be fairly easy with my schedule, not 100% sure of the benefits but lets give it a go!

My super hot streak has cooled the last 2 sessions with me only grinding a $10 profit since last post +$20 from my FTP bonus..........guess its still not a loss and i did lose two large pots to a 1 outer and a 3 outer, if they had held it would of been two $80 odd pots each, sigh nevermind!

Today with the wife away in York on a hen night, i decided to take my two girls to a pub lunch (14yr old and a 3yr old.) We decided to walk as it was a pretty nice day for once, meal was decent and not to shabby for £20 for the 3 of us. Did the usual exit strategy when walking by checking if the 3yr old needed the toilet as it was 15 min walk home, she declined and we set off. We get halfway home and then the little one says she needed the toilet.......dam, ok we'll get a wiggle on and be home fast, 500 yrds from house shes really busting, so i pick her up and get my march on, only to get 100 yrds from the house and feel a warm sensation down my right side........f'n great, she's soaked, my rightside of my coat and jeans is dripping piss through! Get home sort her out, change and empty my pockets, luckily wallet was in my left pocket, dont fancy eating my chewy now which was in my right pocket, pull my Iphone out and thats dripping wet also, remove it from case and its fecked, screen totally blank, nothing i can do with it, tried ringing it on house phone it rings and vibrates but screen just totally blank, and when i connect it to the comp , itunes doesnt pick it up - f'n great!!!!! Most of my Biz stuff is on that phone so i'm totally fecked to it either fixes itself or i get a replacement.

Hope its the only bad beat on the day!!!

Not sure on all the tat's but i'm guessing she's likely to be a 11-12yrs old first attempt of cracking one out after watching Transformers 1 or 2!

Super hot streak continues on Full Tilt, i cant put a foot wrong and i'm convinced i'm playing the best PLO in my life, also having a massive luck streak too. New schedule is working great, the 2 hour sessions keep me alert the whole time and i'm guessing its another major factor why i'm doing well above expectations. last nights 2 hour session did get extended to around 5hrs only cos i had the most massive cod head on 2 of my 4 tables and he was determined to donate to me with trash. So 2 days ago i started on FTP with my $1k roll and now after the most amazing heater i'm sat on $2,011 after this afternoon session made it 6 sessions in a row where i have scored more than 4 buyins (long may it continue.) I used to think Powerpoker had the biggest fish on the plo tables but now i'm sure FTP has a huge ocean of cod heads ready to donate to me! I'm wondering if this is how the internet phenomenoms (feck know's if this is spelt right!) started and will i be playing Ivey on his tables in a few months time (lol as if!) Who cares really aslong as i'm winning, not neglecting family or business, and most importantly playing with money i can afford to lose. First session of my new schedule i'm trialing for 1 month on Tilt and i ran golden, everything i did resulted in me earning $$$$$'s, i couldn't do anything wrong, when i was ahead i stayed ahead, when i chased i always caught my outs, when i was miles in front or had the stone called nuts i was reraised all in. Poker is sweet when you run that good, its quickly wipes all the bad variance away in a flash, but i'm sure when it turns again, you'll all be reading a whining post! In my 2 hour session i walked away with a 12 buyin upswing for a nice $300 at PLO25 4 tabling, didnt think i played that well to be honest but with my luck i didnt really need to. Have to say Tilt hosts a mighty wild PLO game even at my low fishy level, 2 pair is the nuts to 80% of the fish espcially the mad Russians. A nice start to my trial and hopefully i'll continue running hot........speaking of hot, found this old pic..........sweet!!!!

No i havent gone busto already (not even i am that bad!)
After just 2 days back on Powerpoker the games and action is just not there, even though i've made around $90 in short sessions the waiting of games is slow and annoying, and also they have removed my mian deposit methood from the site (long story, but i use Ukash to deposit my poker funds) so to get my full roll on to Power would mean a lot of hassle or paying neteller 6.5% to convert my Ukash vouchers which is obviously a no go!
So heres my new plan and schedule (lol i change so often)
Trial run of 1 month on Full Tilt, playing 10/25c PLO 3/4 tables at a time.
2 hours in the morning before work
2 hours after work
2 hours before bed.

So today marked the return of me to the cyber felt, with a actual deposit! Tried to deposit on Stars but found i was still self excluded from the site for another 2 months LOL, thats the end of that idea. Tried Full Tilt and 10 mins into 2 mtt's i was bored stupid, so i've cashed out and jumped to my old faithfull PowerPoker!
Suppose after 4 months away from the game it will take a little while to get used to playing again espcially in such a active game as PLO, but i found my main problem was being far too arrogant, thinking because i used to make steady money at that level, i'd be able to jump back into that mode and profit no matter what starting hands i played, regarding the whole opposition as fish was another big mistake. I need to get back to my old game and spot the fish, more importantly spot the rocks and take things slowly, i can't expect to return and start crushing from the off, its gonna take time to get my game back!
After saying all that i was pretty happy to only finish $20 down for the 2hr session i played this afternoon, espcially as didnt run too hot and all the above poker mentality.

I have my roll sat in my neteller account, unsure where to deposit and what to play, but i know i'm itching to play and from past experiences when i'm in this mood i always play bad and spewy, so i'll keep considering what i want to play. I'm 90% sure it will be low stakes PLO but also want a bash at mtt's or 90/180 man sng's but i guess my roll is way to small to spread over two sites.............so i just dont know! After several months sorting life shizz out ( house build and working on business to pay for said house build) i'm making my much needed return to the cyber felt.......... i can see all the low level fish quaking already!!!! I've only played twice since my last post and that was around Christmas time, both mtt's both freerolls or free money, and of course i took them both down without a sweat always the case when ur free rolling and no pressure (or in my opinion the sites trying to entice you back!) One was a gold card freeroll on Powerpoker for $400 + change and the other some £11 thingy on Sky poker for £500+ , both times i just withdrew the money as i didnt want the distraction of poker in the busiest time of my life!
So here i am again, starting again with $1000 and most probably going to hit the low stakes plo on Powerpoker, and also a few mtts!

Here's the round up of how my week has gone pokerwise etc etc!

Target of 15 buyins profit at PLO20 a week was crushed in fine style when i hit my weekly target in a day two days in a row right at the start, since that heater i've been treading water for the last 5 days and managed to grind out a $640 profit over the week, still got a session tonight to play but barring a disaster the 15 buyin target has been met in fine style and i'm pleased! Quite happy how i controlled myself tilt wise when the break even sessions were running bad, not once did i jump up to a higher limit to try rescue the night, just kept plodding away and iron out the variance! Was a few shouts at the monitor and verbal berates in the chat box, but i'm slowly learning to control myself! Poker was good this week!
Also received $10 from Betfair yesterday tempting me back to their site, but i stuck the £6 on the online roulette, choosing my fav N0.23 and its 4 corners for a one time only spin, lol of course it came in giving me a £72 win which has been removed to Neteller - sorry Betfair won't or can't put up with that horrible poker software, but please keep sending me free money to place on 23 whenever you like!

Next week i'll be taking shots at PLO50 as i'm now rolled with 80 buyins for that level, but will be breaking into it slowly, and the $300 profit target remains!

Also going to try increase the healthy living and exercise, LOL think it may be easier to win at PLO50!

Life is good at the minute, things are going well on the cyber felt, my BR hit $4k last night, and with a lump of RB at the end of the month i could hit the heady hights of $5k. Still grinding PLO20 but it so god dam profitable i'm loving it, i could move up and do play the odd PLO50 table but i actually make more at the lower level right now. I'm currently staying at parents house full time now, i think this is helping my game alot and i have a little routine which is working well. Also nice to be playing on a PC again and not a lappy, wife and little one still at her in laws, but still see both a plenty and nice to have a break from a crowded house! Lifes pretty 'balla' at parents 3/4 mill £ house, home gym, jacuzzi bath, steam room, tv in bathroom, life is good, and i'm feeling good, in between poker games i'm hitting the treadmill, rowing machine, then the steam room followed by long soak in bath watching sky sports! Shame its going to end in 2 weeks time, gonna have to make the new build like it, the little routine has defo helped me takes the beats and keep my composure on the felt! Still aiming for 15 buyin profit at plo20 a week, actually hit that target in one day yesterday, which was nice! Just ordered a timber frame chalet (large strong well built shed) thats going to be my poker den once the house is finished, nice desk, multi screen system, plasma tv, and enough room left over for treadmill and row machine, peace and quiet away from the house and family BALLA! One day i'd love to be able to live of poker and have the business in the background making sure theres some income coming in no matter how i run, i think the lifestyle would suit me and family down to the ground, need to move up the limits!

Pointless post really but here goes, i've stopped my staking deal with the Swedish fish after a little over 5 days playing, wasn't particularly enjoying playing with someone elses money, even though i made around $1700 profit, the fish thanked me for at least giving it a try and he let me keep $700 of the profit instead of my 30%, so i've continued at low stakes stuff 10c/20c with the odd 25c/50c thrown in, running well and more importantly on top of my game, probably the best i've ever played PLO, guess it would take a while to get back into it, after a year out of the loop. Bankroll now stands at $3.7k, after not even two months back into it, not bad in my eyes, going to start taking any profits out of the roll now to help pay for Xmas, house build etc...........currently 70 buyins for PLO50 or 185 for PLO20, dont think i'll need to redeposit again, will start adding profits back to roll after Xmas is over and see if i can get playing PLO50 regularly and take shots at PLO100. Should be a decent lump in RB this month, currently aiming for 15 buyins a week profit at PLO20 + RB/Bonus should be nice if i can maintain...........rambling now, gl to all unless your on my table!

So i've took that staking deal for 50c/$1 PLO on cake, i removed all my own roll back to neteller and have a nice $3.5k sat in there (not bad since only returning with $1k over a month ago) not sure what i'm going to do with it right now, will just see how the staking goes!

I played my first session with the swedish fish's money (good job he dont know i have a blog and calling him a fish) he railed me for about 90% of it whilst also playing some higher stakes himself, i thought it was going to go tits up asfter 3 hands in, i'm dealt KKds and flat two raises before me, both i was told where aggro players, didnt have any notes myself, anyway the flop comes a lovely 2,2,K i check it and one aggro shoves his remaining stack of $70 in, other guy folds, and i love it when he flips his Aces giving the unlucky fool 2 outs, turn Ace FML, reload time. After that hand i basically go on a heater on 3 tables at a time and i finish up around 5hrs later with 12 buyins up, basically i jumped tables once i hit $400, so i earned my backer a nice $800 and myself $400 and around $70 in rb and bonuses for the session. The fish's remarks of how the standard of play at 50c/$1 was spot on, saying 75% of them are complete donks, and it was nice to get a little flying start, were going to revaluate after a week, but i'm 80% certain i can turn a profit at this level. Lets hope it continues, even if i crash and burn i'll still making a nice lump of cash from RB+bonuses if i grind it a whole month!

2m2mm, PLO and still undecided!

Currently were in the middle of building a house and the family is staying with the 'in-laws' which at times is hard and means i'm using my old lappy on a 3g dongle to surf and play pokes, but the 'olds' have disappeared to the good ol' USA for a month leaving me a free reign of their house, and i have my desk pc set up in one of their spare rooms, last night i decided to crash at theirs leaving the family behind with my wifes 'olds' .........boy was it peacefull, no wife, no 3 yr old, and playing on a pc with sound (lappy's sound died over a year ago!)

Spent the majority of the night watching 2M2MM on poker tube, lol loved it what a insight to a 'balla' lifestyle of a high earning net poker player, really enjoyed it big time, and i guess it helped me to realise that its not all rosey for the latest 'big thing' in internet poker. I would love to get somewhere near to them guys one day, lol i'd love to be able just to grind a living out of poker nevermind get near them! I guess age and family will prevent me from doing so! Excellent show though hopefully catch i'm guessing the last episode soon!

Plo - Continued at my current stakes (as yet still undecided what to do with spin up winnings, or staking offer) Still playing solidly, made 8 buyins and was nice to sit at a proper PC with a mouse and large screen, not just a old lappy that toasts your gonads as you play! The staking offer is still on the table and i railed my potential backer playing a sick session on 2/4, 5/10 and basically wipe the floor with nearly everyone who crossed him, he was 8 tabling on FTP and also 4 tabling on Power, lol guess he makes more in RB than i'd make in a year of actual winnings, ONE DAY, ONE DAY! Lots of peeps i've spoke too said the staking deal is good for me, and i should snap his hand off, not sure though, but it may be a quicker way of getting to the level i want to play at, who knows i may yet make the next series of 2M2MM if i go on a massive heater!

Yesterday afternoon i made $120 playing 10c/20c and was playing well, decided to use the $120 for a spin up, ignoring BRM, but once i felt out of my depth i'd go back to my usual stakes, after 3 hours of spinning up playing first $1/2, $2/4 then $5/10 one table at a time and without using anything apart from the $120 i finished on the $5/10 with $1900, peaked at close to $3k but lost a monster when trip queens rivered the house only to give my opponent quads Jacks - luckily enough he wasnt one of the monster stacks that would of busted me with such a sick beat! 2 hands later i quickly decided to run once the table started getting stupidly wild making me feel out of my depth, so with the $1900 profit +$140 in rb and bonuses it was a incredible day for my little bankroll. I shipped the whole $1900 out of the site, into neteller till i decide what i'm going to do with it, the options being :-
1) Have seperate roll for plo (PowerPoker) and Sng's/Mtts (Full Tilt)
2) Move up to permantly play 25c/50c PLO with 60 buyins
3) Cash out the profits and enjoy!!!!!!!
4) Or take up the offer below

Also whilst playing the $1/2 table a PLO reg offered to stake me for 50c/$1 PLO as he believed i played a solid game, the offer being to stake me 20 buyins ($2k) split profits 70/30 in his favour if any and i keep rb+bonuses, if i was successfull with the 20 buyins for one month he'd bankroll me a full 80 buyins and carry on the same split, and go from there...........still considering it, he's going to coach me at my usual stakes for this upcoming week to see if i have any leaks and then i can decide if to go ahead or not! Apparently the Swedish fish is a reg at $1/2 and above and believes the standard is easier at the $1/2 $2/4 level than it is at under $1 and i kind of agree! A quick calculation on rakeback if i play the same hours as i do now i'll be looking at $2k a month RB, so even if i break even with his 20 buyins i'll still make $2k without risking any of my own money!!! Is this a reasonable deal........i wouldn't have a clue?????

Ok so i've been back playing only a month and i seem to change plans, sites, brainwaves on a daily basis, from mtt's to plo to DoN's to gazing into space looking for inspiration.........its time to give my head a shake! DoN's i'll give a miss for now, playing solely mtt's another miss, so that only leaves me PLO - ok i'm not the greatest player but i've got enough skills to grind stakes under $1/2 just need the roll for it now, i mean i ran shocking last month at plo and still ended up break even and made over $600 in rakeback and bonuses! So i'll guess i'll keep on muddling on with it at low stakes and see how i do, will throw the odd mtt in every now and again!

No targets this month, just keep on going.............and try to keep my head! If anyone else has suggestions shout up!

Well what can i say my aim to make a profit at DoN's failed miserably, cant fault me for volume 31 games in a couple of hours, but running at 3% ROI, and showing a $19 profit its basically pointless! Was running real bad, and the idiots on the cake network took full advantage with suckout after suckout, i.e raise pot with QQ and someone will call with 9,6 off and of course flop 6,6. Also noticed alot of collusion on the afternoon games between 3 particular guys who'd to the most crazy chip dumping to each other when one got short, i.e Villain 1 pushes all in with say 500 chips, villain 2 flats, as does villain 3, flop villain checks, villain 3 will shove with like 4,2 off, villain 2 folds, villain 3 loses to villain 1 who is now back to average chips, this was happening on nearly every table i played yesterday afternoon, same 3 guys, same 3 names, fired off email to support - will see what happens. Made a small profit on a $11 DS Mtt finishing 7th for $30, had a spin up at $1/2 with $40 making $50, tried the DoN's again this afternoon, still running bad.

Not sure what to do/play now any suggestions, move site etc - just dont have a clue how to continue?

A full month of DoN Sng's $10+50c buy ins, aiming to play 100 a week at least, aiming to win 60/100 clearing me a $190 profit a week, i think this is pretty achievable, i have 100 buyins for this experiment, and with them being less volatile and swingy i dont think i'll go broke playing them, looking to play 5 at a time,a couple of hours a night, so thats the plan!!!!

Read a lot of posts on P5 and 2+2 on them, and i think there the best version of poker for me to actually start bankroll building, are they the most interesting - NO, but i really need to concentrate on building my roll, and playing a swingy game of PLO even at low stakes is a struggle even playing 50 buyins. I'm guessing there's peeps who play DoN's full time but alot higher stakes for a living so if my projections/targets are right $190 a week profit is ok for me! If i find i can achieve the 60/100 wins a week i may even not bother adding to the bankroll and just take the $190 a week as a side income!

October Goals!

After returning to the felt this month and basically having a break even month (not including rakeback which i have removed to treat the family with) i've decided to set myself some goals for next month. My plan is to try and play some DoN's on Power Poker ($10+50c) and see how i run for a entire month playing them, kind of burn't myself out playing PLO and was never really feeling the same or in love with the game as i used to be, weird! So DoN's seem a good idea , to build on my $1k and whatever i make i'll add to this months roll including rakeback (which i guess will be minimal playing Sng's)

Wondering if its actually profitable to play DoN's and if theres any full time grinders out there who play these solely for a living, guessing you need to be putting in crazy amounts and have a decent ROI%, would be interesting to know if anyone else is doing this so please feel free to link articles/blogs (lol thats if i have any readers!)

Today looked like it wasn't going to be a good idea to take the day off work to play the cyber felt, after really being on the bad side of variance at 10c/20c and 25c/50c i was looking at a day with a $140 loss, so decided to sit on a high table and try recover some losses in true tilting/spin up style, so i find myself on a $1/2 table with $40, first hand in the BB and its limped to me with 99,2,3 lol uber junk, the flop comes 99AK lol lovely, even better the SB pumps in a pot bet, meaning i can shove nearly all my stack in, which i do, i sit there patiently waiting for the $560 stacked guy to reraise forcing me to put my last $4's in, i wait and wait, keep waiting, check msn messenger i'm still connected, check lobby, still working, NO THE TABLES FROZE, frantically sit there in bewilderment, suddenly the screen unlocks and i see the pot being pushed to my opponent - NO I TIMED OUT AND DIDNT CALL HIS RERAISE! I mutter absolute crazy shit in the chat, and my opponent says he also timed out just after reraising me all in FML INDEED! Lol now i'm really on tilt i reload this time to the max, i'm ready for war, i can visibly see the end of my poker days and my roll disappearing on this table, as i'm sat there waiting a decent hand i fire off a email to support basically telling them they are C**TS, and that i'm gonna leave there site! The table pops back up showing me a hand of AKQJ double suited - this is the moment its shit or bust, i limp in looking for one of the blinds or button to pot it up, NO its limped round and all 5 villains peel of a flop, AJ2 rainbow - not bad i suppose, its checked to me so i pot it, one villain calls, little stack playing $40+ shoves over the top - ok its worth a call i may have the best hand and if not i have outs, so i flat, call, other villain suddenly pumps in a repot of $90 WTF? has he a monster? The little red tilt devil on my shoulder says call, the little white 'Play safe' Angel says fold, take your losses from here and get away from the computer! The devil wins and i flat, its a blank card for me, so i check, the villain pops the rest of his stack in, now i'm pot committed so shove my remaining $98 in, the small stack has QQxx (lol) the repotting crazy guy playing massive stack has Q,10 xx for a gutshot .......A F'N GUTSHOT LOL, the rivers a blank, and quickly browsing hands to see i aint been sucked out on, only to see the $315 pot be shipped my way.........i quickly get up and leave in true spin up style, check my balance up $110 for the day, get a reply from support at the same time, saying out of good gesture they have refunded me my bet when the screen froze .......LOL up +$147 for the day and back way over my original $1k i started with a couple of weeks ago..........should listen to the little red devil more often!

So its took me a week to realise why i was losing so much at low stakes plo against pathetic opponents playing like complete donks I CAN'T MULTI TABLE to save my life, lol it wasn't even like i was playing 28 tables or something crazy it was only 4, yet still i was missing so much info it was unreal, i've stopped 4 tabling now (in stupid min size windows) and play either 2 6seaters or 1 6 seater and 2 9 seaters, but defo no more than 3 at the max, also opened them right up so their overlapping and it seems to be paying off, recovered $220 back from my $400 losses in a little of 12 hours. Also tightened up a little and trying to control the pot, instead of just blasting every pot i'm in front with - this was the same style i used on Littlewoods and it seems to work a little better against the 2 pair brigade! Rakebacks gonna suffer but whats the point of rakeback if you don't make any profit!

Dont know where to start really with this post, basically played a lot of hours within the last 24 hrs and i've ran absolutely terrible and now face a loss of $140, i feel demoralised and beat up to be honest, and dont know what to do, i thought the game was beatable at the level of play but i've just totally lost my confidence big time, when i was committing my stack (when ahead 80% of the time) i knew, and had already convinced myself i was going to lose............not a good place to be in. Need a break and advice!!!!!

Still running break even and i'm happy which is bizarre, never before would i felt happy at being just break even, but thats all i have to do to roughly double and half again my bankroll through deposit bonus and rakeback. Was a couple of buyins up early yesterday, but a midnight session saw me play bad and worse still have no luck, so dropped the earlier profit. Liking Power Poker alot, not the best software but find it easy to play four tables at a time, without feeling rushed.

As the heading says thats my new home pokerwise now, lol i think i've changed sites on a daily basis, but i'm 90% sure i'll settle where i am now. I've played on the Cake network (bizarre network name!) before, and never really got going on it, always struggled with PLO on it, but thats before i used bankroll management, lol in PLO cash you never gonna succeed without it. So i've settled on 10c/20c 6 max 4 tabling and found it ok ish, played a 25c/50c table when first deposited and not sure if it was just that table but it was manic, 10/20c i have adjusted to, not sure if higher or the same level as Littlewoods, but i broke evenish after maybe 7 hours play tonight, at least the 33% rakeback and 600 deposit bonus will at least make sure i'm making some profit. So thats basically the idea try and be break even for a few months and just keep adding the $800+ rakeback a month to my bankroll, then go from there!
Also played a deep stack mtt on POWER POKER final tabled it busted out sickly when a flopped set of 7's was no good against Jacks which hit runner runner for a straight, if that had held i was confident of making the top 3 cash for over $100 at least - oh well.
Also cashed out funds in Littlewoods - awaiting the 5 days (lol still can't get over that) to hits neteller!

Swinging and a new place to play!

Last couple of days have been really swingy playing 12c/25c plo on Littlewoods, currently i'm up 5 buyins for the week, but should really be 10+ easy, had some horendous beats, espcially last night when i flopped set of aces 3 times in a row on a rainbow board to get all the money in each time to lose, to quads twice and a straight, dont think i've ever lost to quads 2 hands in a row, suprisingly how often they pop up on the site. Pretty pleased with my game, obviously running really bad but i'm keeping my head and control when i drop 4-5 buyins a session, and always seem to win them and a bit more very late at night!

Bad news is though the sites rakeback or reward scheme is absolutely pants, a real total waste of time, i've played a lot this week mainly due to taking a week off from my business because its always quiet this time of year, so my reward for playing 20 hours so far in 3 days is a paltry $10 in rakeback, lol and you cant collect till u reach a min of $16, plus the cashouts take over 5 business days back to neteller, WTF? So i'll be leaving whats left in my account roughly $280 and depositing the rest of my original $1k roll on to Power Poker (cake network) to receive a $600 sign up bonus and 33% rakeback, which should help make a little money from this game!

Well i settled back into Littlewoods quite happily and actually made a little profit plo wise despite running shockingly bad, and when i say bad i mean 3 outers were the norm over the last couple of days, the good side is, i never lost my head, never lost control, knew i was playing right and managed to claw back my cash losses and more. The standard is still shockingly bad, or maybe i'm such a nit i'm losing so much equity by only playing the nuts or really strong hands on the river. Also played 3 stt's (2x$5, 1x$10) and again the standard was really really bad, reminded me of Party Poker about 5 years ago, Q10 was a monster for most and any Ace was the nuts preflop espcially in the $5 ones, managed to win one $5, 2nd in the $10 and crashed on the bubble when Ak lost to some fool playing a stack approx the same size of me opened UTG with a push playing Q10 (its the nutzzz dont you know!)

Now the bad part, Littlewoods have cancelled all grand fathered rakeback deals from when they were crypto and switched to 888 network or Paradise whatever its called, so i lose my 30%, they have some gay reward system where the amount of rake you create moves you up to certain bonus levels, basically i'm now silver level (2nd bottom) and get free entry into a 1k gtd weekly freeroll, and also double bonus points of the bottom level which works out as the points you earn can be converted into cash, so far earn't $9 which i'm sure would be less than even FTP's 27% if i had played the same amount of hands. So thats a bit of a bum deal in my eyes, so is either but up with it or move again, feck this poker is a pain in the ass! But thats in the future as i'm more bothered about feeling happy with my poker at the minute.

The challenge mtt's look pretty tasty on Littlewoods also so i will be definitely playing the Monday 25kgtd and the Friday 15k gtd deepstack, either by satting in or playing some stt's to create the buyin, but will definitely be treating myself to the friday $30 once a month at least!

If anyone knows any good rakeback deals for say Ipoker give me a shout and i may take a look!

Change of direction!

After reviewing my games, play and general poker mental state, after decided to switch direction with my $1k roll, so forget my previous goals because theres no way i'll be able to achieve these in new pattern of play. I've removed my entire roll from Full tilt and switched back over to Littlewoods, mainly because Mtt's and sng's aren't really my main game of choice, sitting there for a few hours a night to bust out on the bubble or for a low payout seems like a pretty much waste of time for me, espcially if i only have a window of maybe 4-5hrs to play every night. So the new plan is to play 12c/25c PLO with my entire roll so roughly 40 buyins, with Littlewoods being a lot smaller site it will be easier to find the fish and hopefully make some money, i have a pretty decent record of making cash on Littlewoods (Turned £71 into £3k last year playing the same stakes - which paid for a nice holiday!) and the standard is absolutely shocking and only one or two sharks patrolling the low limts. So the aim is to double my roll and then move up to 25/50c for a bit to see how i run, i've played that level a few times and basically still full of donks!

Also going to try satty into some of the larger challenge mtts like the 25k gtd Monday, and 50k gtd Friday/Saturday and try make some cash mtt wise aswell! Generally feel happy to be back at a site and level i know i can beat, just got to control my anger when the bad runs come and i'll be fine, fingers crossed!

To be honest i dont know where i stand with poker at all, and basically i need to ask myself why i am playing, is it to make money, a test of skill trying to be better than others, or basically a distraction from real life and a fix to my gambling nature..............i cant really answer it but i'm 80% its the later!

Yesterday morning i read a article on how most cash players grind tons of tables aim to play 'break even' poker and live off the rakeback, well i tried 10 tabling PLO 10c/25c for approx 6 hours, finished 3 buyins down but made the same back in rakeback, LOL dont know if i could put up trying to do that, if i did it for a whole month i'd roughly make $1k in rakeback so doubling my roll, not sure if FTP is the site to do it on though, think theres a lot easier sites like Littlewoods so may try it in the future......but we'll see.

Sng/Mtt wise didnt play any at all yesterday and just had a quick 4 games this afternoon, only placing in one. ROI% now down to -30% after finishing 6th in another 90 manner $3's. Guess i need to keep on plodding away, a couple of days into my return and i dont think i'm even gonna achieve my lame goals for Sept, lol i suck at this game!

Todays poker has been slightly better, nothing great but steady, after last nights post i played 2 $5 STT's finishing 1st and 3rd and a $5 18man making the money also in 4th, which left me a hefty profit of $17 lol massive, but better than a loss i suppose, now back to tonight.......

Failed pretty bad in a $2 (1r+1a), got a small cash in a $3 mtt 6 seater, which was suprising since i had AA cracked first hand, and was never out of the bottom 10 runners all mtt, busted when just in the money for little profit, but was quite pleased with my patience, my reads and some tasty bluffs i pulled with a short stack. Played 2 more 90 manners ($3) and busted out in one to a absolute donk, but scrapped a 3rd out of the other for $30+, was chip leader with 5 left but had 2 players who's OPR's were absolutely amazing for playing such low levels, and basically they were far better than me and outplayed me all over the place, finally busted with KQh's vs A9, but was again pleased with my approach to the game. Played 2 more $5 STT's but bubbled both finishing 4th.

Played some little PLO again to fulfill bonus requirements, made around $30 in one session then lost some later on in the night, but feeling the standard is not quite as good as i thought it was, so i'll continue grinding a couple of hours of cash to help pay for mtt buyins, or more likely recoup loses. So far up $50 for the week, mammoth i know but its a 5% increase of my roll LOL!

Strange start!

Well i've finally returned to the cyber felt seriuosly with a designated bankroll, set plans, set structure etc etc.....................and after 3 hours i wish i hadnt bothered. For the first time in roughly 3 months i had a set roll, no more deposit and hope i ran epic to be able to continue to play, and on day one i'm questioning myself, my game, my ambition basically everything!

Started off with a few 90 $3.30 KO's and busted out pretty early in all of them when getting my chips in ahead, the worst being limping in with Q4c's to see a lovely QQ4 flop, to see a raiser, reraise, then another reraise, i get my money in with the nuts and i'm facing a flush draw, pocket 4's and Q8, turn kills my delight by placing the only card i would lose to and thats a 8! Also played a 45 manner $5 and got outdrawn again when midway through. Played the Daily Dollar rebuy, running real well, and was upto 20k when some 30k stack called 3xBB raise preflop, pot on a K high flop, and a all in with a gutshot to of course hit. Tried the early A + B but was so wound up i did nothing.

On a brighter note managed a small cash in the $2 rebuy, to make the night not a total waste of time, mtt/sng wise. Tried my hand at some low level PLO (10c/25c) and recovered all but $6 of my mtt/sng buyins so not all bad, signed up for the 2 table mularky and maybe earn a bonus at the end of the month.

So where do i go from here, i guess i'm going to have to give the mtt's/sng's at least a month to see how i do, did actually manage a 35% ROI last month playing the games so i think they're beatable, shame i'm -61% ROI already after one day. Also going to keep stabbing away at low level PLO to help the rakeback and maybe earn some kind of bonus from FTP

Tomorrow is the return to the cyber felt, and i guess i cant wait, spent a hour or so tonight after work, working out what mtt's i can squeeze in each night, theres quite a few little ones i can play 8pm onwards and be finished before daft o'clock in the morning, will see how i fare tomorrow night timewise, but i guess the main play is going to be 90 man KO's and 45 SNG's, should be able to squeeze in a few games maybe 8-10 a night, 4 at a time (cant handle more than that!)

Was considering keeping some roll aside to play on another site, just for mtt's, but aint really looked into it, i know one thing it won't be on Stars as it hates me, and i can't win a thing on the site, also self excluded myself for 180 days a few days back to stop me being merely tempted with the idea, Guess i will have to look around a few sites to see if there's any decent mtt's that fit into my time bracket!

Goinf to set myself some fairly achievable goals for the rest of September, think there easily achieveable so here they are:-

Play 100 Sng's before the end of Sept
Achieve a ROI of above 10% on all games
Make a profit of at least $50

I know there a little lame, but i'm trying to be sensible and progress slowly with my return to the felt, this $1000 has go to last me, and hopefully increase, if i'm going to continue to play poker online!

Hello, and welcome to my newly created blog that will be following by poker journey as i play with my last $1000, once its gone, its gone! I've battled with online poker now on and off for about 4years, sometimes successful, sometimes playing plain stupid. This will be my last shot at enjoying the game, playing sensibly and trying to make a profit! I'll be trying to follow bankroll management and also implement a few tips i've read or been taught by some more experienced guys, hopefully it will be a success, otherwise its time to find a cheaper hobby!

I'll have my entire roll on FULL TILT POKER, and will be playing a mix of Mtt's and Sng's, maybe throw in a little low stakes PLO as i love the game, but not sure i'll be able to handle my tilt moods, so we'll have to see!

So with my $1000 here i go................................
